The 2’s turned up for this friendly at Cleckheaton expecting to play their 3rd team but were up against Cleckheaton 2’s from the league above. The Pirates managed an early try by Cal, converted by Matt but had to produce a stirling rearguard for the rest of the afternoon. A outstanding defensive effort ensued, with Louis and Cal particularly impressive.
Next weekend sees the 2’s travel to Yarnbury 2’s
