Harrogate Pythons Annual Dinner 2024 took place on Thursday 10th October and what a great evening was had by all at The Old Swan Hotel.
Nearly 400 people from Harrogate and Yorkshire’s sporting and business communities crammed in to enjoy an evening hosted by John Inverdale and guest speaker Dylan Hartley; both of whom entertained us greatly with their stories and banter.
This event is a massive fundraiser for our club and we had an incredible amount of support both on the night and in preparation for the event from generous individuals and our wonderful sponsors who we would like to thank sincerely.
This community support meant that the club raised over £22,000 on the night – What a fantastic effort and these funds go a long way towards covering our costs. And remember – Pythons is a CASC (Community Amateur Sports Club) run by volunteers and with no paid players or staff.
As always, the success of our annual dinner is down to the hard work of one individual. He’s always the first to pay tribute to those who help out and the sponsors who contribute but I’m sure everyone in attendance and the whole club would like to say a massive thank you to our chairman Julian Tatlow for his tireless, selfless efforts in organising such a fantastic event every year!
